A new important meeting between Daniela Caruso and professor Cheng Feng was held in Beijing on April, 6th.
Cheng Feng is a vice President of GHS (Global Health Strategies) and Adjunct Professor at the TPHRC (Research Center for Public Health of Tsinghua University). GHS focuses on promoting China’s engagement in global health and development by providing strategic communications, policy research and advocacy. The Research Center for Public Health of Tsinghua University
is a university-level research center for interdisciplinary studies, including medical science, life science, public administration, economic management, laws, communication studies, social sciences and environmental science. With its multidisciplinary approach, TPHRC seeks to produce constructive academic research and social policy proposals that will contribute to solving serious public health problems brought about by tremendous social and economic transformation in China.
During the meeting CHETCH project was introduced and the governance of Chinese global healthcare covering , integration of the medical systems and the future strategies have been discussed.
At the end, Professor Cheng Feng has introduced an important roundtable about the universal health coverage and the access to the essential medicines that will be held on September in Adis Abeba and has invited coordinators of the CHETCH to present the project during the event.
